About This Project

Its origin is a mystery; some people think it was already known during the Roman Empire with the name of Pucino, which was appreciated especially by the empress Livia Augusta.

The colour is lightly straw, fine and persistent; the taste reminds apple, pear, almond and honey. It leaves a bitter aftertaste, which expresses complexity and intricacy.
